88 Grand Wagoneer sell/trade for an XJ in Maryland

Hello again, my introduction is over in the appropriate thread. Now I need to sell or swap this Waggy so I can actually get an XJ.

This thing is totally stock and very nice for a mid-atlantic rig. Perfect for hauling/towing or just to round out you Jeep fleet.
I'm looking for $3,000 or a trade for an XJ in similar condition.

Also, any advice from knoweledgable folk as to what I should or should not be looking for in an XJ would be most appreciated. i.e typical trouble spots, or "bad" years, or problem powertrain components or whatever.

I've got lot's of pic's of this truck please e-mail me direct [email protected] for more info as I can't check the forum during work but can access e-mail.

Thanks,
Jay

Wow. Looks cherry. If I had the $$ I would grab it.

Regarding XJ recommendations, to start I prefer at least 91-92+ with the HO 4.0 inline six and the open cooling system.

As far as all the other things, it depends on what you want to use it for and how much you want to build it.

There was a slight styling and interior change in 97 which some prefer including myself.
