I have a 87 4dr xj that is already built for the trails,
jeep has 147k but runs strong, beadlocks do not come with it at this price. I have a full set of black doors for it in great shape as well as the original maroon front doors some of you may recognize this as Jaymo's old jeep it has the folowing
Dana 44 rear with a spool, new bearings and 456's
dana 30 front with lockrite and 456's
It rides on 33" tsl's with about half tread, but still plenty to tear it up at the Cliffs.
It has a custom front bumper with an 8000# MM winch and recovery points. and also a custom rear bumper.
It has been gutted , cut out the little bit of rust and lined the inside.
It has the intake thru the cowl and has had all of the plugs under the hood sealed with dielectric grease.
also have shimmed the hood 3/4" to help it stay cool.
Has a gas tank skid , a new Rusty's motor and tranny skid( not installed ) and the tranny cross member has been braced for striegth. It also has added steel to the unibody to help it hold up to some thrashing. he cut the rockers off and put some 2x6 3/16" steel rockers .
Now the lift is a set of RE 4" coils and 2" spacers in front and Dakota and Xj springs in back. he had cut the old control arm mounts off and made a dropped set out of 1/4" steel. She needs a set of 6" shocks.
It has a pretty sweet steering set up with over the top steering. and adj. track bar.
