27 or 29 spline 8.25? I'd be interested in the 29 spline, the axle shafts and other parts to convert a 27 to a 29 spline. 96' is the transition from the 27 to the 29 so you really need to check it out.

Is there and easy way of doing this w/o taking the shafts out

I dont know if I would be able to see the splines if I just took off the cover
