So, truck is still for sale. Lights are all working again, but I need it gone. Unless I get hired at this new job I applied for...then I'll be able to afford fixing it up and getting the 89 running.
As it sits right now, it runs hot intermittently, the running lights don't turn off until you unplug the battery and reconnect (but only if you turn on the headlights), and the shifter linkage fell apart. $1500 as it sits, $1700 if I fix the shifter linkage, $2000 with all of it fixed.
Mind you, all of it fixed means if I get around to fixing it. I'm too poor to do that anytime soon though. I just need to get this 89 F150 on the road since it'll give much better mileage, and is 4x4. I can't afford 2 projects right now (Jeep and 73...)
