Would upgrading to a larger throttle body like a 62mm give a noticeable increase in power? I am not looking to go drag racing; I just wont some more power.

1997 Jeep Cherokee XJ only modification in a K&N Intake kit.

Yes, you'll notice a marked improvement in throttle response and a small increase in torque. You might find one cheap in e-bay.
Do it, and then start working on freeing up the exhaust side.

Hey Doc, I'm going to have a Banks header, Magnaflow catback, and downtube bent up. I'm now thinking the next thing I want to buy is the Fastman 62mm TB. I want to couple this with either a homebrew intake or a K&N (like the nice clean look). About how much rear wheel HP do you think I am going to free up?

I already have the header and catback and plan on getting some new O2s,
do you feel I sould notice the difference w/a "highflow" cat? I've located them for 60-70$ and my stock one has 108K onto it.

He has what looks like a better TB than most.

Well I installed a 62mm TB, yesterday, from Fastman and a K&N FIPK on my 99'. Made a fairly noticable diference, smoother accel., more topend, and it downwhifts alot smoother also. Install went easy about 1.5hrs. I think I'll really notice the diference once I get my exhaust installed next week, (banks header magnaflow catback and cat and downtube bent up). Just thought I would share, if anyone was interested.
