This is a 50's telephone service body on a custom frame (2 in angle Iron I believe, 1/4 thick). it has a mobile home type axle with 2 good tires/rims, and 2 that are only good for spares. I bought this to make an expedition trailer, and just have too many irons in the fire. It is it good shape for it's age,and especially for being in indiana. I bought it somewhere out of illinois - can't remember where.
The roof was plywood covered in thin sheetmetal. The metal has rusted through in places, so the roof will need redone. The actual trailer, and floor are fairly rust free. There is also some slight damage in the right rear quarter that should pretty easily be massaged out.
Asking $1,000 o.b.o.
located in indianapolis
These are really rare, and the only other one I saw listed online was on ebay for $1500.
