4th annual W4TW - Fawl Crawl - Sept 27-30th @ DTown

I pulled my back out Monday... this thing is killin me. I'll be there but I'll be slow...

Dang it that sucks! :shiver: I feel ya though, it hasn't happened to me for a while but when it does, OUCH! In some cases I have to go to a chiropractor and/or message therapist for treatments.

I wear a back brace when I work in the garage and lift/move large stuff these days and it seems to help a lot. So does the hot tub after wrenching! I'd offer the hot tub to ya man but it would take ya a long time to get here.

Hot tub! Why haven't I thought of that?! We have a hot tub!

I've been to the Chiropractor twice already, going again when I get off work. Trying to get this knot in my back smoothed out before the weekend.

 Chiro doing manipulation, electric stim, heat and/or actuators? We'll have some homebrew there (gotta get it bottled) that should do ya!

All of the above. He's always surprised how high I tell him to turn up the Electro-therapy box. That stuff feels GOOD!

I like most everything homemade.

I have to finish packing when I get off of work today.

How are the sites there? Are we in a field with some random electrical outlets? Or are they camp sites?

Better what where you put those there Electrodes my friend! :wierd:

RV and camp sites are like a KOA or Good Sams campground setups would be like. Tent camping I think there are both primitive and organized. All have access to the bathhouse near the lodge. RV side (across street from lodge) has another bathhouse for electrical/water sites. I've never tent camped there. I've used our pop-up camper and Cabins. Always had electric/water. Bath house/bathrooms on lodge side are acceptable but nothing to write home about. They are better than Morris Mountain though. No clue on the bath house on the RV side. Hope that helps.

I guess I'll see when I get there.

I didn't even price out a cabin for the weekend.

I also have a pop-up but SC doesn't allow triple towing... :(

Here's some details: http://www.durhamtown.com/RV.htm

Follow the online reservations button if you want to see what is available. By now most of the decent low priced Cabins are reserved. But if you want an RV sight you may want to reserve one or get there early. I know the majority of the Matanza folks putting the event on convoy up today.

yeah, It's no big deal. I'm good with $20 per night tent camping as long as I have power for odds and ends. Also need room for a camp fire. By 9pm tomorrow night I'll have a fire rippin.

Are you guys tent camping?

We're in cabin DP#4 which is along the road right across from the main lodge. Sounds like you'll get there before us but when you see the white XJ with 1313, the buggy, a TJ and a big arse Red Dodge 3500 dually and gooseneck that'll be us. :D

The Eagle has landed.

In the R sites to the left of Kayes Keep straight across the road from the office.

LowRange 2 I don't think I caught up to you the whole weekend, sup wit dat?

Thanks to everyone who came out! 104 rigs or so participated up from 60 some last year. Over $2200 was raised for the Wounded for the Warriors project. Good times were had! God bless our vets!

Big thanks to Big Mike, Mike D and the staff at DTown for the hospitality and contributions to the cause.

I'll post up a pic from the GP track in another thread. :)

I already have that picture... I hate I missed it.

Man, we were straight across the parking lot from you. The gray F-250 and red Silverado was us. Mine was the one that squeeked like hell the whole first day. lol

Every time I managed to get a minute to come talk you guys were heading out. I also never passed anyone on the trails. I actually parked right beside your Jeep at the lodge for a while but had no clue where you were or what you looked like for that matter.

Perhaps next time... I'll be back. I enjoyed the place.

DOH! :eyes:

U should've just looked for the guy doing this :yap: and as bald too!

I hear ya though, no clue what you looked like either! deeedaaaadeee I reckon! :looney: We should've figured that out on here!

Yeah, I only saw the younger redheaded dude driving the Jeep around. I assume that was your son? It must not have been you cause he certainly wasn't bald.

 Yes sir that was my boy Andrew! He got the red hair from, umm, well.....the wife's side! Everyone calls him Ginga! :sunshine:

Well, I was graced with a similar color... a bit darker but I've had my turns being called Ginger as well.

I'll be back up there soon.

He embraces it and loves it! He's odd like me! His car is also orange! They call him the Ninja Ginga on the fencing team.

lol Mine's dark enough now that I've got older you can only tell it's red when the light hits it. So, basically, it doesn't look red in the dark...

I have a ton of pictures from this weekend.

Dad flopped the Samurai and I tried to Endo all the way down a hill.
