4banger block

Anyone local have one just sitting around that I can barrow? Or does anyone know absolutely for sure if an A-904 automatic out of a 86 V-6 Cherokee will bolt up to a 4banger?

I just want to know for sure before I spend anymore time hunting down parts to convert my junk over from a 5 speed.

just man up and put a v8 in it. or a 3.4 or whatever vorteck in it. better then a 4 banger

not sure what auto came in an 86 4cyl, but I would think the baby 904 would bolt up. I had an 86 v-6 904 at one time too. I was in the process of building a 3.4l for it, but decided half way through the engine build to just buy a 92 w/4.0l AW4 8.25. Saved my self the trouble. haha.

I've got a good 2.8 with a 5-speed and 242 I'd sell cheap.

No really, I need to switch over to an automatic because of medical reasons. I blew out my knee about 15 years ago and it would help out alot to have an automatic on the trail. I don't think it will be two bad for power with 488's and later on I will get a stak or atlas case.
