I live in vancouver washington, I have a 1990 cherokee laredo with nearly 200,000 miles, it is time for a new engine. I would love to put a High Output 4.0 in it. I don't have much money, I also have an 87 toyota pickup 2wd with a 22r that i would be willing to trade for a good 4.0 HO.

My 4.0 smokes and leaks oil, so I need one that has good compreccion, and another 50-80 k left on it. I can get one here at a junkyard with 150 compression in all cylinders for 450 with no accesories, do you know how much shipping will cost?

The guy I bought it from said it was rebuilt 75,000 miles ago and I beleive him. I'm not sure on the compression, though. I hear shipping with freight air is pretty reasonable, but it might still be close to 150 just to ship it. I'll find out something more specific and PM you.
