34x9.50's with a 3" lift?

check out www.rocky-road.com for a budget boost...I'm running 34x10.50 LTB's with 3" and 2" BB.

It's do-able BUT be ready to cut it to death or bump stop the crap out of it. The guy above in the red XJ looks like he's going to eat his fenders up if he ever wheels it. Especially in the front... So I would say if you plan to just drive it around on the road then yeah you can do it and not cut it up. But, if you plan to wheel it then w/ only a 3" kit you will need to cut and bumpstop to prevent damage to the jeep and the tires.

Im running 34x10.5" LTBs on a 2" BB..Im cut up in the rear about as far as I can go and I have no front fenders..I was cut to the body line before, but since the XJ has been parked, the fenders have came off.

OK, I know the pictures suck and they dont really show anything. But its all I had before it went into the garage under the knife, again..Its possible, the only place I really rubbed was the inner fender, but I took care of that with a BFH and some massive beating.

it will work if you hack up your fenders. bump stop enough and it will be fine, probably not the best, but it will work.

I'm going to buy some spacers and shackles soon so I can get 5 inches out of it. But my plan it to hopefully have 31 all terrains as the street tire then slap on the 34's when the weekend rools around.

good plan, pretty much what i do.

Actually, I wheel almost every weekend and the tires in the front don't rub at all. The front and rear are both trimmed by the way...I just left the upper half of the flare on to try and control the salt in the winter. The back and front has about 1 1/4" sheet metal cut and bent at the bottoms of the flares to allow the tires to tuck into the tire wells.

You have to realize that you don't need 8" of lift to fit 34"s...if you have ever been offroad you would realize that the biggest tire you can fit on the smallest lift with the most flex keeps a low COG.

The jeep actually sits at about 6" all the way around.

if you put them on stock rims, theyll tuck inside the fenders, and you wont have too much rubbing with out cutting
Well I got the lift on and thats my plan exactly, get steel cragers for the 31's and use the stock rims for the 34's, I like tall but skinny tires, they get down deep and bite.

yes, I'd say it'd work with major trimming & a little additional bumpstopping (just so the tires dont tear on the fenders).
I have around 2.5-2.75" of lift & 33x12.5 TSLs, I've trimmed a lot & acutally haven't added the bumpstops (I have them sitting in the jeep) and have wheeled it a lot with great results. Here's some pics:

pm 2offroad. He runs 34 X 9.50 TSL's on 3"

I got 3 inch coils up front and about 4.5 rear and a hole lot of cutting.. even when you think you cut enough you cut more.. there is only a tiny bit of rubbing on the front at full lock when flexed out. Make sure you cut alot out before you flex or it eats the crap out of the tires..
