231 doubler and cable shifters

Im going to run a 4:1 d300 instead of my original plan of a doubler and d300. So this is up for sale. I bought it from knucklehead and this was in the big red heap before he went to an atlas. It is a complete kit with many clocking options. You can run 231 behind it or an round bolt pattern case with 23 spline input. This is a dd machine kit.

I also have some cable shifters. Its a tripple shifter set. All in one. Again this setup was used in the big red heap with the 231doubler and the dana300. They are north west fab. Ill throw some pics up sometime today.

Since you already have this in hand, I suggest you look at driveshaft lengths and the difference that doubler would have on your front driveshaft length and angle. The 300 (and Atlas) give up several inches of front driveshaft length, and one is also tempted to clock the transfer case up, saving ground clearance at the expense of driveshaft angle.

Again this is a 231 with a 23spline input and 23sine output. You can see the clocking ring has full 360* clocking on the rear case. This setup was run with the 231 flipped to passenger side and the d300 driver side

Thanks for the heads up. Im aware of the length difference its about 7.5". However by the time i install this case ill be running a d70 with lockouts up front. High speed vibes will not be an issue. Ill also be running custom high angle driveshafts. Im only running 4.5" lift at most. So the angle wont be that bad to begin with.
