2005 4-wheel Jamboree

I myself might attend the show. I lived up there for a while and know a few of the guys from above and beyond 4x4 with that cherokee. I havent been in a while and would be kinda cool to go up there with some naxja people. i know a few people that like right in burlington so if you guys want to do some partying let me know. oh yea all 3 days anyone?

Hey Rob, You can probably count me in. I've never been to a jamboree. My wife and I were talking about going to check it out. As long as it isn't a downhill mtb race weekend I should be able to make it :) -Nate.

just to clarify this.. its isnt a Jeep Jamboree where a bunch of Jeeps get together.. its a 4Wheel drive Jamboree.. a huige redneck truck show... where you can see the ultimate in fair-grounds wheeling... its a good time..

Like sidriptide said it's a four wheel jamboree they got 6 classes of mud drags ranging from stock 4&6 cyl classes to All out mud rails. They also got a burn out compatition tough trucks and monster trucks. So far I only know of Back Sallion, Ramunition and Raminator are going. Raminator has won 15 of the last 16 rounds at Essex and his freestyles are awsome. Heres a preview of what you will see with Raminator in freestyle (right click save as) http://www.midwestmonsters.com/Clips/topeka3.wmv They also have a show & shine competition with all kinds of trucks and theres a group there that has a RTI ramp and see saw you can play on with your Jeep. Anyways hope to see you around Keene. (I think I saw your Jeep a few weeks ago at the Clinic.)
 
Yeah I think most of us are aware it's not a Jeep Jam. Sounds like Rob just wants to get an XJ crew together to head up. You know, strength in numbers sorta thing :guitar:

Exsactly! I think it would be pretty cool having around 10 XJ's together and maybe having a NAXJA banner representing the group. I'm also gonna be staying at the Days Inn it's only a few miled down the road.
 
I live in Elysburg, about 10 minutes form Bloomsburg and if you guys are looking to have fun at night I would suggest staying at either the Days Inn or Red Roof Inn, both in Danville. They are almost connected to one another and are infamous for having burn out pits every year, they used to have a mud bog at the Days Inn a few years ago. Also last year (before the cops came) someone in a Jeep buggy backed up a 7' high dumpster and parked on it, either of these places are great for entertainment, not much of a family place though if that's what you're looking for!

He's a gearhead just like the rest of us. I don't think he should be judged on the car he drives. BTW it's the older Mini to and is RHD.

Sounds fine to me! If I didn't have a lifted Jeep I'd probably have a dropped car....as long as I can get dirty working on it! (better on gas anyway!) I've worked on quite a few street rides for my friends. They've suckered me into installing everything from new stereos, to custom carbon fiber hoods. I'm all for personalizing whatever vehicle you have!

And I'd love to have a RHD just to see what kind of looks I get.... :laugh3:

P.S. Rob, sadly I don't think I'll be available that weekend, but I'll let you know if things change!
 
well if its really an original Mini it gets coolness points.. but i still dont get it.. if you told me in 1988 that Hondas and imports would have a stronger aftermarket support than my chevelle i'd have said you were "smokin crack" but then again crack didnt exist then like we know it now...

A rusted out mini sittin in a cornfield is a lot cooler than a tricked out crapic.
