2001 grand prix wipers-parking vertical

I have a 01 grand prix and the wipers park straight up and down in the middle of the wind sheild, anyone else have this happen??? whats the fix?, Already padded the dealers pockets for $500 . any ideas?

Try running a ground from the wiper motor to chassis ground. I had the same issue in my S10. Fixed the problem and never looked back. It was a actually a service bulletin.

easy fix was to remove the wiper motor, take the cover off with the printed circuit, and remove the little metal tabs. put it all back together. The wipers work great they just dont park on the pegs on the cowl cover. no big deal. oh yeah it was free (except the six pack and a knuckle scrape)
