2000 XJ - Daily Driver/Expedition Build

X3 on TNT. The link mounts are above the skidplate/ frame, you get a nice Tcase skid, and all the parts are beefy. It handles great and fits great. The way it mounts through the frame will take a lifetime of abuse( if u add stiffeners). Can't say enough +'s.

So now I'm considering the Serious Long Arm kit and TNT's... both sound great.

Front mini skids are on order and am probably going to pull the trigger on the HD rail stiffeners and a Hobart 140 today. :D

Nice! I love having a welder, it will pay for itself.

The HD stiffeners are great, I would suggest the front ones too.

x4 I have TNTs Long arms, Not a single regret. They work well with my HD stiffeners and the skid plates are pure beef!

See you have the eaton E-locker and 4.10s in the d30 like i do. Pretty good set up, I have beat on mine pretty hard with stock axles and have never had an issue. I keep an extra set of d30 axles just in case though.

HI, Do you have a list of mods/parts you installed? part numbers and manufactures?

thank you

Sorry sure don't!

Good to know yours is holding up.. I'm getting more armor before I abuse this setup anymore.

Alot of folks were recommending some frame stiffeners so I decided to go forward with them and am glad I did. I got mine from here:

The fit is awesome and they really solidify the unibody. If you're going offroad this is a top 10 mod.

I finally got around to something I've been meaning to do for awhile was get right of those factory bumpstops. I ended up breaking a bolt on each side. I used reverse drill bits and then retapped the threads. Installed are extended bumpstops from Daystar and these extended leaf spring plates from Creepy Fab. These suckers are thick and heavy. Well worth the $38.

Also pictured is a U-bolt kit from Fat Bobs.

I now have 4" between the plate and bumpstop and 7" from my tire to the inner fender. I'm thinking I may have to trim the Daystar bumpstop to tuck that tire in there, but have not tried any flex tests yet.

Or use the original bumpstop?. Now that the contact is 3-4 inches higher then it was.

On the longarms, I've had roughcountry's witch worked fine for the money, you can always call up and get free joint rebuild kits for free, if you grease them regularly they will work fine. I now have TNT's longarm kit and they use larger hardware(hp44/9" axles)and the ground clearance is nice.

Solid Differential Cover install
For the price, these things can not be beat. I used their hardware and also installed Lube Locker gaskets. Those things aren't cheap but I love that they are dry and can be reused. 80w90 Valvoline gear oil (Conv) was used as well.

I had to open up the holes are the rear cover for the bolts to line up. I had to do this on both the cover AND the lube locker gasket. I tried to mount each separate and both were off by a c hair. What are the odds?
