So its taking f-o-r-e-v-e-r for the game to download from the uptorrent program....Anyways went ahead and got alot of maps and vehicles.

Should I wait till I got the game loaded to load up the rest?

i dont think it matters, once the game is downloaded, you just drop the "car file" in the file called vehicles and do the same for maps. but i think you can only have a certain amount of maps, not positive. but yeah it takes forever!

I can't get any of the new maps to work and none of the Cheats work...

um, on the screen that says pick your vehicle and pick your map and whatever else it says. type in "ineedmoremaps" and see if it will unlock them for you. thats what i have to do and at the same place you type in "ineedmorecars" and get the locked cars. let me know if you understand that.

have you downloaded them yet?
edit i see you have downloaded them.

so you need to make sure the files are unzipped that you just downloaded i.e. the viper map and open up the 1nsane folder, then click data, then click maps and drag the .idf file from the folder you just unzipped (viper trails) and it should be in the game. you might have to type "ineedmoremaps" every time though. and do the same for the cars, but go to 1nsane then data then vehicles. again you might have to type "ineedmorecars" but im not sure, i dont have to, but i do have to type the maps one. im not sure, but i think you can only have a certain amount of maps at one time that the game will open.

Yeah.

I am going to try to delete a map and see if that works.

yeah, you might have too many maps. I'm almost positive i saw somewhere over on insaneheat.com that you can only have a certain amount of maps, but i don't remember the number.

Try worldtraveller for maps and fillmygarage for cars. They are the european version codes if I remeber correctly, but they are what worked for me.

i'd like to try out some MP... but after clearing out some of the old maps, and adding a bunch of vehicles, my game will run, but when i try to launch a practice or do a race, the game crashes back to windows... and the new maps aren't showing up, and i dont' think all the new vehicles are either...
suggestions?
edit: and i don't know what screen you type in: ineedmorecars, ineedmoremaps, fillmygarage, worldtraveler
