1999 -2001 cam in a RENIX?

I am selecting a cam for my 4.5 L budget stroker. My goal is low RPM torque and optimum fuel economy with 87 octane pump gas. This engine will probably never run over 4K RPM. The only head work I am planning is to smooth and CC match the chambers and port match. I would like to use the cam from a 2000 4.0 that I got for free. This cam looks like it will give me more low end torque, and it was developed to run with the new intake that I already have. I read somewhere that this cam won't fit in the older motors, but I don't remember why and can't find that info now. Can somebody tell me what I need to do so this cam can run in a RENIX motor?

There some differences in the 4.0 engine blocks, but I'm not sure if that can affect the fitment of the 2000 4.0 cam you have.

What is "different" about the cams? Surely the position and size of the bearing journals or lobe position have not changed, so is it the drive that is different?
