1997 XJ Part Out.

What actually classifies as "the block"?

You're pretty much getting what you see i'm just curious. Should i be taking the crank pulley off, pulling the oil pan off, taking the oil pump, taking the crank out, taking the pistons out, etc etc to technically be selling you "the block" or is it normally the bottom half of the engine with everything still in it?

block is the giant cast ion bit

shortblock= block+rotating assembly, generaly the bits between the head and the oil pan.

longblock= shortblock with a head and valve cover

generally anyway.

Did this thing have keyless entry, and do you have the fobs?

Possibly interested in the pair of front door strikers/back plate and associated hardware if the price is reasonable. Zip is 93444.

Did it have manual windows? I could use one more manual window crank.

Any speakers left over. All of mine are blown out. I need the two in the overhead speaker bar int he back and the two in the front doors.

I have the bezel and harness.

The gate I took two bolts out others were seized. I can't remember if I ended up getting that out or taking that with it to the scrapyard.

Ill take a look tomorrow for you.

I need the stupid bolts for the front drive shaft. The ones that go through the yoke at the TC and into the CV joint. I can't seem to find them any where! Do you still have them?

Edit:
I'm out in Windsor btw. Don't know if you're willing to meet for something stupid like bolts haha

I think I have a set of those kicking around in my random bolts drawers of my toolbox.

Ill take a look for you in the morning. Those will fit in a standard envelope and ship to you for probably two stamps. (A whopping 86 cents I believe.)
