Ok, I have a 1994 Cherokee for sale. The good: 5speed, 4wd, 8.25 rear axle, 2 door, Wrangler aluminum wheels(I believe they are the canyon wheels) and the best part: NO RUST! This Jeep is unbelieveable. rockers, 1/4s, everything. Super clean. For a midwest Jeep to be this clean it was either garaged, or possibly it came from the south or west. Red with tinted windows and grey cloth interior.
The bad: 2.5 4 cylinder. Not running. I am not sure if it needs rebuilt, or if the head is bad. Compression is low on cylinders 1 and 3. (only 50 pounds each) and 2 and 4 are over 100. Has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil and crankshaft positioning sensor. Headliner needs replaced. drivers side door hinge is starting to pull away from the body (typical) and the windshield is cracked. (I see so many like this that I am beginning to think that is a factory option!)
I am asking 700. I know that is high for a non running Jeep, but to be in this good of shape is rare around here. I would trade for a complete 1st gen S10 with a 4cyl/5 speed combo, a Neon with a 5 speed, or a cab from the 40's or early 50's from a ford/chevy/international. I am either going to go back racing, or do a rat rod. Inbox your number and I can text pics. If it does not sell I will just find a motor later on. I am pretty firm on price, but shoot me an offer worst I can say is no. I wont go below 500, and I dont want to part it out. I know I could make more money doing that, but I dont have the room to do all that. Jeep is in Indianapolis, really close to 465 on the Southeast side. If it does not sell, I will look for a motor after tax checks come and fix it myself. Thanks everyone!
