Well, I really don't have a need for my Jeep anymore so I'm going to sell it. I'm getting out of the Marine Corps and I have a baby girl due in August and I need the money and can't deal with the Jeep anymore. It is in the SoCal area (Oceanside, CA). The body is in good condition for a 1991 (passenger front window is busted though, I will fix if needed). I can get pictures up here if anyone is interested, but I'm going on up to San Jose for the weekend and I'm putting this up here to gauge interest.
It has about 110,000 miles on it and needs a little bit of brake work. I converted the shitty ABS to manual brakes, but as of late I've had weak brakes and I just don't have the time to fix it or the money. It's got a Rubicon express 3" lift (full leaf packs), Bilstein 5100 shocks in front, terraflex control arms (lower), I think I have some uppers (rancho) in a closet somewhere. The Jeep also has the 242 transfer case which works perfectly too. The tires are BFG AT/KO with about 15-20K on them.
So if anyone is interested in buying it and is willing to tow it or help me fix it to road worthiness they can buy it from me. One thing though, it is registered in Michigan so I have to order the title from the DMV there and get it here.
I'm asking for $2000 as the paint is in pretty good condition (a couple small (quarter size rust spots) and the engine is good. I drove this across country last summer (2300 miles) and it made it ok. If anyone can help me out and take this off my hands it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and semper fi.
