1989 Cherokee in Iowa City, IA Going CHEAP!!

MOVING SALE!! 1500.00 OBO - No way to get two vehicles to CA from IA.

Cherokee must go by July 10, 2007

Strong running 1989 Cherokee with 175,000 and a clean title IN HAND with tons of engine updates and NEW parts. Jeep was purchased on e-bay about 2 years ago and I have put about 6000.00 and less than 1000 miles since that time. NO OIL LEAKS!! Has AW4 auto and NP242 transfer case which has worked perfectly during last 2 Iowa winters. Dana 30 is non-vacuum disconnect with new brake pads.
BRAND NEW
• - 19# Injectors (less than 50 miles)
• - Pacesetter header (less that 50 miles)
• - Currie JeepSpeed 3 1/2 front coils
• - Rubicon Express 3 1/2 rear springs
• - Xenon headlights and stock rear light assemblies
• - Hood release cable and latch release mechanism (needs install)
• - longer Lower control arms with rubber bushings
• - American Racing Atlas 15x10 wheels-
- Dunlap 31" Radial Rover RVXT with about 500 miles.
UPGRADES
• - 1998 Chrysler 8 1/4 rear axle with 29 spline shafts and all new brake components from backing plates out, as well as yoke and yoke seal. NO LEAKS.
• - Has new U-joins on rear drive shaft.
• - New catalytic converter and complete cat-back exhaust
• - YJ extended brake hose. All new brake lines for rear axle
• - Rusty bumpstops front/rear and coil hold downs
• - Rusty trans drop kit - (slight vibe, but at this price you could get SYE)
NEEDS
• - Front U-joints
• - To be detailed
• - Headliner

Other Issues
• Check engine light is on, but Chrysler tech has run diagnostics twice and could not find problem. At this point tech thinks it is in the light.
• - Clear coat oxidation on hood and roof like all older Cherokees, but no body cancer or major rust anywhere that can easily be detected.
• - Ignition switch needs replaced, which I will give to winner.
• - Door locks need rebuilt, but key work for doors and hatch
• - Rear hatch supports don't keep hatch up when it is cold.
• - Needs passenger mirror put on
