Sorry about the long post, but to make it short: How do you adjust fuel mix on the 1987 4.0 Renix?

About a year ago I discovered that my battery was shot. I charged it, but it just drained again over night, and about that time my issues started. I may have fried some sensors back then?

I replaced the battery, and started to change parts. The issue is that when I’m «low on throttle» the engine stalls. At about half throttle and up, it runs ok, and it idles ok. Ok, but not as good as it used to. To be able to transport the car I had to accelerate to about 10 above speed limit, and then idle down to 10 below. Then apply about 50% throttle to allow it to accelerate again.

Parts replaced so far, after the issues arose:
New battery.

Ignition.
- coil, dristibutor, rotor, spark plugs, wires.

Fuel system.
- fuel filter, drained the tank, all new 98oct fuel without ethanol, new 4 hole Bosch 746 injectors

Sensors.
- new temp sensor, new TPS, adjusted TPS, cleaned IAC, checked CPS, tried with and without O2-sensor. (car was delivered without)

Coolant system.
- new thermostat, new coolant.

ECU.
- New ECU ordered for a 1990 4.0

Exhaust.
New manifold, new manifoldgasket, new downpipe.

Finally had to deliver the car to an auto shop for troubleshooting. They measured and confirmed all the sensors were good and within specs, but it still runs very rich, they said. They even did a compression check, without remarks. But neither me or my mechanic understands how to adjust fuel mixture on the Renix, as it still runs rich.

Any ideas where to move forward?
