1985 Dodge Ram Charger

So what do you guys think of these trucks? My friend has one with the 318 V8 and 4X4. He says they are better than cherokees, I told him he was full of it. He says theres no way that my 90 xj could pull him out of a ditch.

that might be true.........but he just told u that he would be in a ditch and u couldnt pull him out, therefore youmust no be in the ditch that he just ot stuck in..................proving that the words he just said, shows that a cherokee is obviously better offroad

Bet him you can pull him out, if he is really stuck.

Let him get it stuck, then drive away. Tell him he wins as you are leaving.

ya lol, I was behind him and the ditch was full of water and he decided that he was going to be cool and go through it, he didn't realize that the ditch was alot steeper and right as he hit it and went through the truck shut down. He said he shut it off but i think hes lying.

The thing about ram chargers I like are the removeable tops, like the K5 blazers and Broncos. It would also probably be a good vehicle to put a cummins engine (4bt or 5.9L) into.

I had no clue that you could remove the tops off this one. I'll have to tell him thats what you can do to it.

The factory removeable top was available from 1974 to 1980..

Those are some pretty damn solid trucks...if I could afford the gas I would still be driving my 85 Dodge Ram.

That drivetrain combo is solid. 318/727/np208/D44/9.25

Granted they were slow as anything, they were tough and damn reliable.
