16" Liberty rims on my XJ

There's a set of those KJ rims for sale in Boise for $80. They seem to be in good condition. I'd buy them, but I just bought another set of 4 Rubicons for $75 yesterday =)

I´ve mounted a set of Rubicon rims on my daily driven XJ as well, if anyone cares...

Looks good BlueGerbil…………… Once I lift, then I’m planning to put the Moab Rubicons from my Liberty (pictured above) onto my XJ. How tall is your lift? Any rubbing issues?

I've been looking for a set of those 17x7.5" Liberty Limited wheels. The ones that are the six-spoke.....

I like the ones on the Freedom Edition.

Here's my stock 17" rims and tire with the OME 3" lift.

Those wheels look pretty good... was there a version without the chrome?

Nope, they only came in chrome. I'll probably keep them and use them at a highway wheel/tire combo once I wear down the factory tires. I have another set of 15" cragar wheels and Toyo's for offroading. Having two sets of tires seems logical, especially for those of us who cruise down the highway a lot.

Is the wheel actually chromed, or is it those silly plastic covers on a wheel like some WJ wheels?

Yes, they are plastic covers affixed to regular alloy wheels.

“Offering improved resistance to the elements, our chrome-clad wheels deliver superior impact performance, are highly resistant to dents and abrasions, and will not peel, pit or rust, thanks to a patented three-layer high-impact composite”

Here’s the company that makes them for Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge:

I've always like the wheels on the (I think it's the) Renegade trim- five spoke, charcoal colored, but the only KJ wheels I've seen in the area have been the plain jane steel wheels. The 6 spoke alloys on the black one are sharp too.

Ebay? The salvage operations all have retarded pricing, but you can occasionally score a good deal from an individual. Your local Craigslist?
