973 pics, just from our '07 Hawaii trip.

My Pictures/Properties...
10,744 files in 81 folders, just under 20 Gb total. Some of those are camera videos though.

Of course that's not including some of the ones I recovered from the external hard drive that crashed. Some I transferred to My Pictures, some I did not.

I have a computer sale flyer that expired 12/31/95.

I believe the one I bought was the 100mhz Pentium with 16 Mb RAM, 1.2 Gb hard drive, 2 Mb sound card, 4x CD-ROM, 28.8 K modem, 15" monitor, speakers and keyboard, all for only $2398!

What did you get, for what, probably half that or less?

We bought an HP Pavilion.
6 gig ram
AMD phenom 9550 quad core processor 220 ghz
640 gig hard drive.

$672.00

So that's about twice the computer I bought two years ago, at about the same price...

I've had no problems with my HP. :thumbup:
