Hello again!
My friends XJ AC compressor clutch bearing is not in good health... He really doesn't care about the AC and he's interested in bypassing the AC altogether. His XJ has no mods it's completely stock.
Is it possible or has anyone done this??
A shorter belt??
Belt re-route??
Is there...
I can't believe I'm selling it, but the wife doesn't like climbing in it and a two door is going to make it difficult with the baby :rattle: .

a three inch Sky Jacker lift
full length leafs added

yea, i've bought a code reader and then rented a scanner from autozone... and still no codes.
it's headin to the garage. i don't have time or money to start replacing sensors.
goos luck to you!

Check engine light (o2 sensor) was on for about 3-4 weeks.
I was going down the road and it stalled. It will turn over, but not...
OK. so i found the sensor... the wires from it go down to a connector that traces back over top the tranny and up to another connector on the passenger side.. about the level of the bottom of the valve cover. the other wires from the connector go to the O2 sensors...
