Its finally time. Military life has put me in a position where my Jeep can't get used the way she should. Its heartbreaking to drive such an amazing rig on pavement only. Looking to re-home my baby, to a good home
2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, was a western rig most of its life, relatively

If you can't find any broken or damage wires, check the passenger side. Locks and window control go through the passenger side switch. If no wires are broken, replace the passenger side switch. It didnt make sense that controls would run through the passenger side so i resisted replacing mine...
I would say just go with stainless lines and call it a day.
I have some yj lines i will send you for the price of shipping though if you want them. I had them on mine when i got new axles, and just decided to go with stainless.

I had the same issue on my XJ. somehow the plastic anti-syphon ball spring had moved positions, it should be inside the ball, somehow it had moved to outside the ball. I would bet you money that your issue is that anti-syphon ball valve. Pull the tank, and the pump and reach in there and pull...

i was thinking that might be the case. i can't imagine rusty burnt coolant is very good at conducting heat

interesting observation from today: I flushed all the old brown stinky coolant today and replaced with new. Threw a bottle of Royal Purple Purple Ice in there, mostly for the anti-corrosion properties. Prior to the swap Jeep ran right at 210. Now its not breaking 190...
As the title says, I am looking to replace my short-arms/drop brackets with long arms. Would prefer a four-link but I don't expect anyone to be getting rid of one of those.
I tried various wraps and insulators and such. Not those exact same ones, but similar. I found it just resulted in more material to hold heat. Hood vents lowered my underhood temps and resolved my heatsoak.
Ultimately though, I pulled the cats and replaced my ECU with a 2000 federal...
just get one of these installed:

I have one in my Jeep and my truck. Its $500 installed. Yes yes, it is essentially just a keyed kill switch, but its a very good one. Would probably take me 4-6 hours and a multimeter to defeat it. I don't think a thief will spend the...
I don't have enough experience to say what you should get, but DO NOT get alloyUSA. they lasted me about 5000 miles.

installed the Spicers last night. you are correct, the angled receiving cup is for the install of the upper.
I actually found the angled cup in the lid of the press set I had, went very smoothly.

I got the Autozone master kit. It was actually almost brand new, really good set. Better than any previous rental tools, so maybe they are trying to up their game. It easily popped out my old terrible AlloyUSA joints. Will put in new Spicers today.
I'm honestly not really sure what the...
