i have 1988 jeep xj and i nstalled 94 jeep xj pedal assembly for a 99 grand cherokee brake booster swap. i undid the fuse block and tugged on it. cause it had crude stopping the bracket on the master cylinder to come out. at that time i didn't notice i had a clutch master cylinder leaking...
Mine has opening. I think they wing is interchangable. Went to a local jy and the newer style has the same nut setup as mine does. Will be testing as soon as i find good ones in the jy. Mine was solid not a ball on the bottom of the window.

Hey was wondering if a oil pan from a 98 xj will fit a 88 xj 4.0? Needing to order a new one and looking at the spectra premium one need it by tomorrow.
Thanks RCP Phx. That might do it. Wil look into it when its day light outside more in that area. Wasnt to sure if i could just buy a whole new one from a 91 and put it in.
I just bought it and going through all the bugs of it. I know it has major oil leak from that area is another reason why i was just gonna put a new one in. Owner before me was not a mechanic or even close. Its why i was asking about the other adaptor since im replacing it anyway might as well go...
Does any one have the part numbers to put the horizontal oil filter adapter? Wanting to change my vertical one out so i can run bigger oil filter on my 1988 jeep xj and have standard threading. Local junkyards have no jeeps with this part still on it so gotta buy it new and in parts. I searched...
