my 86 wont go into gear,I dropped the transfer case and the throwout bearing arm was in wrong,turned it the right way and it still wont go into gear.I think the previous owner might have shortened the clutch pedal to master cyl. rod. how long should the rod be? it's a 86 w/a V6 and 5 speed...

changed the master and the slave and it's still mushy,I'm going to try bleeding with a power bleeder tomorrow A.M.

my 86 had a clutch problem,put it back together and I can't seem to get the mush out of the pedal,I've bled it three times and it still feels soft and won't go into gear.any bleeding tips?

clutch froze up,after trans drop I found the yoke in backwards.my question is "is there a spring retainer on the end of the yoke opposite the slave cylinder?"or is it just held on by the disc pressure? and can anyone direct me to a good illustration of the clutch assy.

just bought a 86 2 door,no rear vents 5 speed.got a v6 and I love it.I'd rather have the straight 6 but i'm really happy with this one ,perfect body ,low miles.good interior.I'm going to pull the rear seat.
