I ran 33,s with 4:10,s for years in mid Ohio. I regeared to 4:88,s. Same gas mileage and more smiles. I can now use 5th gear somewhere else than interstate. Kinda wishing I'd geared somewhat lower.

Was the install easy? Were the instructions understandable? Has it worked well for awhile?

I've tried and failed to put a 40 tooth speedometer gear into my Atlas. I'm going to try one of the inline electronic calibrators and was hoping some one has tried one of them.

I worked quite a bit on stands. No more bubbles in the fluid. The pump is nice and quite. Pretty sure it's bled good. Just seems the pump isn't putting out enough. I might try a pump mod. you drill out the pressure fitting for more flow. I tried that on my old pump though with the old box...

I took it out today. I locked the front and tooled around a field. It seemed like it might be working but until I hit some rocks I won't know. The steering is hard and slow at idle and when cold. I replaced the pump before I started and it seemed to be fine then. I'll play with it some more...

Before I replaced my steering box I drilled and tapped it for ram assist. I bought a PSC 1-1/2" cylinder kit. With the XJ jacked up, tires in the air and the ram rod-end loose from the tie rod, the ram does not move or moves just a little when I turn the wheel with the engine running. It...

Thanks Yes I would have to shorten my track bar to clear the spring. I do have a bushing on the axle but there is a Johnny Joint on the frame so it should swing ok. I was more concerned with bump steer and binding as the axle moves front to back.
