I had taken some stripe tape off & wanted to see if the adhesive would come off in the wash ... WD40 took out the sticky stuff, but some clear residue was left. They did look at me a little funny though ... The XJ is my new pride & joy though. It will be babied.

i've got a '91 laredo, similar to the one pictured but without the piece circled in red (front passenger door gray ext. trim). recommendations on where to find it or what to call it (trim? molding? skin?) while searching would be appreciated. and definitely if anybody has this piece available...
