    Amps, Sups and Tweeters

I have a bunch of amps, a couple of subs and some tweeters I'm selling. I'm not a dealer. These need to go so I have a build fund and money to live on. I've been off of work since January 2, 2009 due to a back surgury and don't have a job to return to.... I have a few Infinity REF1300A...

    OME front TJ coils anyone?

I ran 3" lift Teraflex TJ coils from 1990-2006 and they started with 3 75" of lift and sagged to 3.5" of lift. They also have a very soft spring rate. Once I added my bumper they sat just a hair over 3" of lift. The guy I sold them to sent me a PM about a year after he bought them. He loves...

    Stock gears with 33s

The recommended fluid is all that is needed with the proper set-up. Anything else is a waste of money. I keep the synthetic fluid for my transfercase...

    Stock gears with 33s

My 24"x08" 38,000lb gross vehicle wieght rated one will keep it cool. It's mounted in front of the radiator on the side with the A/C electric fan(which I don't have). I have a sensor which runs the fan if the trans temp ever exceeds 195 degrees. I have a 210 degree sensor for a overheat light...

    Stock gears with 33s

IMHO the first mod should be a huge cooler with a fluid change. It is great insurance. All a gauge does is tell you when it's getting too hot. A cooler keeps it from getting too hot. Mod number two would be an inline filter. Mod number three is a skid pan for the trans pan. It's hard to...

    Recommended tall skinny mud terrain?

I was never really liked 12.50" tires on my XJ. They broke or wore out more parts and just sucked up a ton of power. They didn't drive as nice as a Q did either. My MJ I'm building now will have Q's on it with a built '77 HP D44 and a 9" rear axle. My fenders would stuff a bigger tire but I...

What do YOU have for Diff covers, Frt - Bck???

I have one a Wisconsin club member makes. Mine has a higher hole then pictured since it is for a HP D44. They are made to order. Mine was a prototype so it only cost $50.00. It's a 3/8" ring with a 1/4" cover. I think they go for $80.00 now. I have a 9" rear axle... So no you can't see...

    Recommended tall skinny mud terrain?

I like them taller like a Q78 Swamper with 27/32" of tread and are 35.5" tall.

Cherokee DoubleCardan-Rezeppa (Double CV shaft) ???

Rotating them 3-5 degrees is about correct. You'll have to take your own measurements. The spring mount needs to get tipped back the same amount also. Just cut a slit down both side and tip it back. Weld some steel in to fill the gap and add a plate on the sides to reinforce the mounts.

    Extended Leaf Spring Centering Pins

:twak: They stretch when they are tighted. They might work a couple of times. They could break when you hit a big pothole and cause a deadly accident too. I have seen U-bolts break or stretch enough the axle shifts on the trail a few times. I change mine on the third use, but mine are...

    Limiting downtravel

Just so you know those aren't pictures of my rig. When every I see good work I save it. I hav e a 89 MJ that I'm cutting the cab so its 8.75" longer by making it fit a 2dr XJ doors for extra room. I have my wheelwells cut so they end at the bottom of the front edge of the front door. I'm...

    Extended Leaf Spring Centering Pins

Did you know that whenever you remove your u-bolts they are supposed to be replaced? I use 5/8" u-bots with custom spring plates. I have stretched 1/2" ones one time. Only use steel shims, nothing else.

    Extended Leaf Spring Centering Pins

I make sure I buy steel shims with a 5/16" hole and get a pair of new center pins. The best shims are part of the spring pack.
