    My $400 Daily Driver...

From the evil thoughts department: imagine turning one of these into a competative roadracer. What yall are paying (similar to what I got my rig for), would allow me to build a vehicle for this: http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/. That's were I've been and frankenstang and I have been up to for the...

    Chapter meeting in COS

I can't make it. I get to move into my newly aquired house that I actually own (this time). Ok, I share ownership with the bank ... <shrug> When did I miss the "up north" meeting? With gas prices the way they are ... shouldn't we be driving to a trailhead and not a parking lot?

    Memorial Day Plans?

Now that it apears I already have a buyer for the Firebird, I may be free to do some wheelin. I might even be able to afford gas for the trip. (is there a station in St.Elmo) I couldn't find anything on Hancock or Cottonwood. What are those like? As for the campsite, are you talking about...

Whats alls music that they like?

Oh yeah. You remind me of other 80s metal like Epidemic, Overkill, and Armored Saint. I even still have a lot of Anthrax in my collection. Sometimes my mood swings me into foreign metal like Rammstein and KMFDM. There's some Japanese dudes that can rock, too.

That may be why I'm a dues paying union member.

    Insuring a totaled rig?

Maybe Alabama is one of those states that doesn't use the "Rebuilt from Salvage" (or similar) tag on titles. That might be good to know because I bet there are still some Katrina cars out there, still on the market, and re-titled in AL. <shrug> Maybe his insurance company was more lenient. I...

    American Made Stuff

Nope. you get a frowny face for that. :thumbdn: Back on topic: I just remembered that there are a lot of vehicles built here in the States. In fact (if I remember correctly), every Honda Civic sold around the world is built in the USA. It's sad that names like Coleman and Carhart...

    Making a pig of myself...

Good thing I just finished off an "Al's Greezy Spoon" double cheeseburger before reading this. I got my fat bomb fix already.

    Moving to Denver Area....

Dude, it won't take long for you to want to move out of Denver again. Most folks eventually move to ... anywhere from Castle Rock to Ft Collins and put up with the commute. At least that's how it feels when you're on southbound I-25. :wierd: :laugh2:

Wow. You caught my spelling mistake. I'm impressed. But my point was that you don't have to be an asshat in how you disagree with someone here. Frankly, I pretty much blew off your point based the fact that you were just flaming someone over their spelling. Dude. It's an internet forum...

Whats alls music that they like?

Lot o Pantera fans here. Cool. I'm just happy that "metal" has finally come back around to being ... well ... available even. At least without looking underground or at bible bookstores.

Truck drivers as a profession, I need guidance!

I hope you don't have a family now, dude (89jeeplaredo). Unless they're gonna ride with you. I've seen plenty OTR drivers loose theirs. But if not? Cool on ya. Good luck.

Dude. What is your problem? Do you think making coments like that will actually entice "non-members" to actually want to pony up for a membership? I know a couple of them personally that refuse to join because of posts like this. I probably wouldn't have, myself, if I had seen it sooner. By...

    American Made Stuff

Now that's too funny, but are flowmasters still made here? Anyway. I was at ChinaMart last year looking for some 5gal water jugs, and it took me 30min to find a couple that weren't made in China. The ones I bought were made in Canada and I thought: "at least they're from this continent, that's...

    Possible ColoradoFest camp???

Only half normal snow? We're gonna be seeing the suck factor of that in about a month down here in the flatlands. I do like the "no charge" part of your idea, Tom. Especially since I won't be able to make it for the whole week. (Just the weekend.)
