My 88 had a similar problem-- I believe it was actually the top mounting bracket for the trac bar-- I thought it was the TB itself so I replaced it... didn't solve the problem... investigated further and I could see the connection was loose on the bracket side. Unfortunately I sold the jeep...

haha and my headlight buzzer doesn't go on when i open the door-- it goes on after the ignition's been off for like 45 seconds, and then it does a quick buzz and shuts up. Kinda funny. (I think my door sensors are busted.)

Haha good for you! I wish I was there. I think I'm close though... I think I still leak a little from my filter adapter. And hopefully the rear main seal will hold. Replacing it was a nightmare. Took over 16 hours. (more on that here: http://jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159661)
