XJ Resources in Santa Rosa, CA?

My daughter will be back at Sonoma State (Rohnert Park) in the fall, and we plan to sell her 4Runner down here and buy her an XJ to use at school. We'll probably buy off of CL or some such, and I won't be up there, so we'd be looking for someone knowledgeable to check it over. Any...

    Suspension Work in San Diego

Cool. I'm new to the world of Jeep, though I do have 15 other vehicles. Maybe we should do a meet-up in the DM/SB area?

    Suspension Work in San Diego

Thanks. If I check the castor, shouldn't that tell me if my LCAs need to be shimmed? AFAIK camber is non-adjustable, right? My steering isn't properly centered; should I reset the steering box, or adjust the tie rod? I will have the wheels balanced, check the toe-in and check the fasteners.

Thanks. I realized after I posted that I was in the wrong sub-forum. By then, it was to late for a mere mortal to do anything about it.

I have a 1987 Comanche MJ 4.0L shortbed. A 4" lift and other suspension mods (Skyjackers, JKS adjustable track rod and LCAs) were done before I bought it. For a number of reasons, I'd like to have my suspension and steering checked over and possibly adjusted by a specialist. Any...
