High side. The fluid flows from compressor high side, to condenser, to evaporator, to low side of compressor Condenser is in front of the rad, evap. is in the dash...
High side(the side that feeds the condenser) is WELL over 250 PSI. If you are using the AC compressor, think about the qestion for a min....then answer will come to you...:)
Welding is not a talent...It's a SKILL. ANYONE can weld given enough practice, and time. Hell, my 14 y/o stepdaughter can lay a pretty decent bead...and she's only been practicing for 2 months. The welding is only a small part of Fab work. Setup, and fitup can make a crappy welder look good...
Good new welder=500 bucks.
Grinder, and supplies=30 bucks
Steel=30-300 bucks
Being able to fabricate items at home, and not be screwed by Aftermarket companies.......Priceless.
Too bad the Mk4 motors are like GOLD, and next to a New Hemi in price.
A old 7MGTE motor could be had pretty cheap......Mk3 supra motor.
I still think if he's got a bare engine bay, a GM350 is the best bet. Cheap, easy to make power, and rock solid.
Wait untill you get a Ticket from the DMV for being 5 months out on inspection.
And now you cannot get an illegal inspection sticker as well.
fun wow yay.
There is China Quality, and then there is CHINA quality.
China makes some pretty good stuff....IF you pay for it.
Like the 4X6 Bandsaws HF sells...Made at the same plant as Jet, and Grizzly...Just to cheaper standards.
I'm still waiting for the China choppers to appear.

Seeing as it's China copy of a Milemarker, I'd say it's worth the 250 when it's on sale.
FWIW, T-maxx, Warn, and Ramsey ALL use China parts in them.
and being HF, when it breaks, just take it back and get another.
Ran them for about 2 years. Not ONE problem. retreads are on EVERY Tractor/trailer, City Bus, AIR FORCE AIRPLANE, and many others.
For the price they cannot be beat.
