    Transmission Issue?

Yep, got to be a little more careful next time and not be so rushed to get my jeep back out on the dirt. It's just all this time sitting in the garage is just not right. BTW, anyone know where I can find a new gear for the pump?

    Transmission Issue?

I just got the transmission out and pulled out the front pump, and ta da, the gear inside the front pump was busted. So, monday I think I'm going to head over to the local transmission shop and see if I can get a replacement gear.

    92 to 87 engine swap.

Hmm, maybe I should look at this stuff. Because I have just swapped a 96 into and 87 and so far no issues. I only changed the throttle body.

brake sometimes sinks to floor, sometimes drags

X3 on the rubber lines, but I will probably have to lean towars the booster. Vaccum Boosters are not the greatest pieces of crap.

    Transmission Issue?

The engine runs just fine. I'm assuming if it was anything to do with the flexplate, it would be making all sorts of noises. I'll be pulling the transmission next weekend. I'll post what I find. Thanks for the tips.

    91 fuel pump ???

If I remember correctly, the return line is not connected to the flow of the pump. Thereforel, there is no direct pressure into the return line.

    Transmission Issue?

    Torque Converter Issue!

There wasn't. Here what I did. I took an engine out of a jeep that had been rear ended pretty badly. when I got this jeep it had no transmission, transfer case, flywheel, or torque converter. But i was told it was manual. So when I went to swap engines, I found out that there was a pilot type...

    Cash for clunkers

Yeah a buddy of mine traded his in for a new ranger. Got a brand new one for just over 10K. However, it worked out great for me too. the sunday before he traded it in, he let me swap out everything I could from his xj to my stock. Got lots of goodies. Dana 44, Rubicon express lift, 31" tires, etc.

    Torque Converter Issue!

Yesterday, I swapped my '91 4.0L with a '96 4.0L in my Cherokee. Unfortunatly, I didn't bother the see if the torque converter from the '91 would fit the '96. The allignment shafts on the center are completely different and I do not have the torque converter from the '96 because it is manual...
