Does anyone have the part numbers for them ? Or knows where you can get them. I have a 90 XJ with a 2.5 and Dorman sells replacements for the 4.0 that says it fits the 2.5 but its not the same. I'm looking for the two pieces that connect together and fit into the bracket on the intake manifold...
From what I've read if you got anything 95 or older you can only swap in seats from a 95 or older xj without fabrication. 96 XJ's and up you can swap in the newer xj seats or zj or wj seats. I've physically seen the different seats but this is what I've read from googling and forums.
Right now...
I'm looking to swap out my seats in my 90 XJ. I know there's not alot of options. Just wondering if anyone has seen Heated seats in exported versions. I'm looking to swap in a stock setup.
I know the Limited's came with power leather seats, were any of them heated ?
Has anyone see a Carling's switch with the High Idle symbol and wording ? I have two of their switches installed already in the bottom of the console by the Tranfercase Shifter. I use one for my air compressor and the other is an extra but is wired up to the headlight dimmer switch already. I'd...
I have a dealer installed Crysler alarm on my 90XJ. I'm trying to figure out how to remove it, but I'm looking for the wiring diagrams on it. It seems to be that the wires are part of the harness under the dash and under the hood. The factory service manual doesn't contain anything on it at all...
I'm not a fan of the gap on the sides, but if thats how they're suppose to fit then I gotta live it. I'm gonna see if I can find another XJ here at work and try them on for size, preferably a 94-96.
Re: Difference in grills from 84-96 - PICS
The insert is just sitting in the grill centered.
Sitting in the grill adjust all the way over to the left.
Same as above, just with my pinky for reference.
And a pic of the ones on my YJ, you can see how theres no gap... And nothing hold them in.
I guess that there's suppose to be a little bit of a gap on the sides of the inserts then. I called Quadratec and they're gone send me the other ones, 94-96 and see I'll see if theres a difference. I put the same inserts (Mr. Grille) on my YJ and they fit nice and snug. Theres no wire ties or...
Yes, I figured the dimensions of the grill itself would be the same for all the years of the older body style XJ. I believe they all use the same header. I was just wondering if the slots were these inserts go are sized different from 87-93 and 94-96. I found a 89 XJ here at work and tried one...
I just ordered billet inserts for my 90 XJ. I order the set that Quadratec lists for 87-93. For some reason theres about a quarter of an inch gap on both sides of the insert when attached to the grille. Top and bottem fit fine. I'm wondering if the grill was at some point replaced with a newer...
I thought about doing that... All you have to do is plug the intake manifold, the new exhaust manifolds come with a plate for setups that don't use the tube. Then you just need plug the vac line off. The only problem is what is the effect on the emissions after that? Where I am (New Jersey)...
Yes, I am looking for the tube not the valve... The vavle is available from NAPA and includes the gasket for all of those that might be reading this down the road. I need the tube between the intake and exhaust manifolds. My exhaust manifold somehow warped... When I put the tube back in with a...
