I think its a 4.0 thing. Ive had 3 break the ring land on number 6 in the same spot each time. 3 different motors with varying mileage and care. I think the cylinder gets a hot spot on one small section where theres no coolant veins and no air flow due to location against the firewall/trans...
Judging by thebcoil wraps and lengths id say Tuff Country. Theyre one of the few that has a progressive rate in grey. And they only make 3.5" for jeeps also. So 3.5 coils plus acos adds minimum 2-2.5" theres 5.5-6" just where u guessed it at.
Make the center section removable. Cut the crossmember on each side of the transmission and make it bolt back together. Ive done it with a few random crossmembers and it worked fine. Made bolt plates from flat steel and welded the plates to the crossmember.
Winter tires are made of a silica based rubber that is very soft and stays soft to a lower temprature. Down side to silica compound is exactly what u described. They feel loose and wander bad. They almost feel like driving home from wheeling andnot airing ur tires back up. If it started when the...
Im running 7 degrees with 8" lift and long arms. Have minor driveline vibe but very tollerable. I had to run 6 or more to get it to drive decent with the long arms but not the short arms for some reason.
I would leave em where theyre at. If u shorten them itll look weird with the tires pulled toward the back of the fender. Just make sure the driveline isnt trying to separate at full compression. As u said just do bumpstop and call it good. I personnaly pushed my front axle forward 2 inches for...
Mine was doin that last winter and oddly in the middle of the summer with no rain. Ended up being my drain hose from the bottom of theblower housing was plugged and the condensor moisture was filling up the housing when the defrost or a/c was on and running the air conditioner. The hose is kind...
Take the brake lines off the master and instal plugs if the pedal still falls then its the master. But if there's no leak externally then its the master. Its the only component on your brakes that can bypass internally and not lose fluid.
I ran 8" of lift with that steering and 5.5 degrees caster and it drove great. Now I swapped to hysteer and over axle track bar and had to add 2 degrees extra with no sway bar. I run extra toe in also around .35 degrees. Caster makes a HUGE difference...
I ran national spring religously in my blown mud truck and my trailer puller and any time I needed new or replacement springs. Get the weight of your jeep before u call.
