I think the spare hubs may be sold (waiting for confirmation), but the D30 and D35 should still be available. It'll be easier with your Dad's pickup, but I was able to fit a 59" Ford 9" rear in the back of my XJ (diagonally with the rear seat down).
While beer is appreciated, cash is easier...
Actually, I'd only sell them separate if someone needed to convert the vac-disco D30 for sale - otherwise, I need 'em for trail spares for my new D30!
Thanks anyway!
Well, my axle swap is nearing completion, so I need to get my old axles out of the shop. Descriptions are below....I would really prefer local pickup (and might be able to help with delivery), but will consider shipping Forward Air if buyer pays all costs.
1989 XJ D30 - High-pinion, 3.55 open...
I'd be very interested in this axle and can let you know by Tuesday if I need it (I have a line on a prebuilt axle). Would you be willing to deliver to Rochester, NY, and/or maybe we could figure out what's halfway?
Thanks!
Jason
RedXJ, please keep me posted on the outcome. I was checking out a project vehicle writeup at www.truckfarm.com where they used the Milemarker kit on their XJ. It didn't say much, except that it "added a little width". Here's their pic and comment:
This is what the Mile Marker hubs look...
I wasn't aware the Milemarker kit didn't require machined rotors and kept the stock width. Is this straight from Milemarker?
I'd be much more interested in doing a hub conversion if I didn't have to monkey around with special rotors and increased track width.
