    Prothane Plugs

Positive, the ID of the Prothane is 1.5". Looks like the seller changed the Amazon listing and removed the 1.5" option. It's a fitting to go from a 1.5" hose to a 2" clamp. You could look for a different flange size, as long as the barbed fitting is meant for a 1.5" hose it will fit into the...

    Prothane Plugs

I haven’t been able to get it off road yet. This is a new build that I’m wrapping up some final things on, and with a 6 month old it’s hard to find the time. I can say that I hear them tapping around town when I hit dips and bumps a little hard. They are staying in place so far, I really don’t...

    Replace D35 with a 44A?

There are gears available, and a couple locker options. There’s also a few aftermarket diff covers and pinion guards available now. There’s some aftermarket support, enough to make it a decent axle.

    Replace D35 with a 44A?

If you can find a 44a with a driveshaft, it's an easy bolt in swap to a ZJ. V8 ZJ's after I think '95 all had the 44a with 3.73's. It's a good, common swap. You won't be able to use one from a WJ. WJ D44's are wider, different lug pattern, and use different control arm mounts.

    Prothane Plugs

Check these out.. I recently found them and installed them along with Prothanes on my ZJ. I’ve ran prothanes in the past and always had the issue of them jamming onto the upper coil retainer/bump stop post. These are a 1.5” barbed adapter with a 2” flange. They fit really snug into the Prothane...

    Rockpile ZJ Build

So I’ve ran prothanes on other Jeeps in the past and had issues with them jamming up onto the coil retainer/bump stop post. I found these 1.5” barbed adapters with a 2” flange that fit perfectly into the Prothane. It’ll prevent them from getting jammed, but I’m anticipating the rear to be noisy...

    Rockpile ZJ Build

Hey everyone! Long time lurker, but finally joined up to post my new build since it’s a unibody. I’ve got a 94 ZJ Limited 5.2L with just under 67k original miles. I’ve had it for a few years now, and just finished installing a lift on it last weekend. This is my 3rd Jeep and I’m building it to...
