Here is how I did mine: http://jeep-forums.4wd.com/showthread.php?t=15071
I also happen to have a stock AC compressor, and a stock mounting bracket for sale if your intersted.
They are comp compound trepedors for sure! http://www.maxxis.com/products/automotive/product_detail.asp?id=329
They also make a non-comp compound, but they have a different tread pattern and depth.http://www.maxxis.com/products/automotive/product_detail.asp?id=5485

You really need to look at a 4-link calculator and make sure the whole thing is setup correctly, you can't just get numbers from other kits and expect them to work well.
There is a lot that goes into a good 4-link. Link lengths, vertical & horizontal separation at both the frame and axle ends...
I sold the one off my 1992 for $90 on ebay(plus $30 shipping)!! Thats the best way to get good money for them.
I got $120+$30shipping for the one off my F250!!
The only problem with putting lights up high on the Jeep like that, is unless your the trail leader, you cant even use them when wheeling. They blind the person in front of you, and are useless!
Other then to look cool, I dont see a point in having that many lights.
A single set of lights with...
If your going to argue about which kit is better, you really need to do more research. The RK is fully bolt on. The bent arms have just as much clearance as the TNT ones. I have NEVER hit my control arm brackets on the RK kit. I've wheeled all over the east coast, even run it in competition and...
I think it was more for the people buying the new JKs! Jeep made it VERY clear in 2001 that they didn't care what we though!
If they would have listed them as D32s(or what ever they are) and D47s, they would have gotten 11million questions about them, and since most Jeep dealers can even...
The axles are COMPLETELY different! They aren't even really D30's in the JK. They are actually like D31's or 32s or something like that. The D44's in them, are actually D47's! They just kept the old names so people wouldn't get confused!
Rock Krawler is 100% bolt! That gets my vote. I've run 3 diffrent generations of their long arms. I've wheeled with guys running almost any other long arm kit, and my RK kit will hang with any of them, and out flex most!
Thats cool, I wondered when you listed that price!
What all did the Solid Axle come with? Just wondered what they normaly packaged with their axles, I know they can do any setup you want.
What are the spec's of the Currie axle? What shafts (inner and outter)? what style knuckles?? Hubs?
Just wondering what you get for that price, seems low for a front axle.
Call Solid Axle(888.290.AXLE or www.solidaxle.com)!
They build some of the strongest axles you'll find, and they can build you what ever you need to work in your setup. They make HP 44 axles, and they are just as nice as their 60 stuff.
We're running one in a WeRock Stock Mod TJ and we...
