Didn't take too many photos, but I enjoyed the view of Index from the cliffs...
Looked like a pretty good turn-out on Sunday. It's amazing how much crap accumulates over the course of only 6 months.

No point in letting Uncle Sam hold onto your money all year (without paying you a dime of interest). FWIW, I work it so I net zero or even pay a little at tax time so my money works for me all year instead of the government.

Hey James. You might have seen me; I spend most of my time on the Madigan Hospital side of base. You driving your XJ around? I'll have to keep my eye out for you!

Read the full statement from the National Weather Service here.
Seriously though, it's going to pretty bad out there and anyone heading to the mountains this weekend needs to be prepared!!
Gonna be pretty wild!

I wouldn't be betting on much for us down here at sea level, but not too far away.....
...and then for Sunday/Monday...
I hear rumors that Crystal is considering opening on Saturday. Monday's commute could be a mess with wet roads turning into frozen roads. Get your tow-ropes ready!

John,
I'll echo what Erik said; you AND your family will be sorely missed. I will definitely be in the neighborhood at some point showing Andrea around Penn State. We'll definitely have to swing by and say hi.
Until then, be safe and good luck! KEEP IN TOUCH!

Damn dude, glad to see you're okay! Pretty impressive that it hasn't happened to you before, being that you're so timid on the trails :shiver:.
Glad to hear the rig is okay too! Sorry I missed you this weekend; Andrea and I went skydiving :yelclap:.

So I summited Mount Rainier on Friday/Saturday. The weather has been perfect for the past few weeks and we hoped it would continue for our climb. Besides, the big man upstairs wouldn't dare make lousy weather for a weather-man climbing the mountain, right...
