Just bought some hummer wheels so I'm saving up parts for when I go to tons. Looking for 38"+ tires on 16.5 or some nice 33-35" tires and wheels that are 5X4.5 pattern.
Started out as RE 5.5 short arm kit currently long arm radius 3 link front with 2" .250 wall DOM, and 6 jonny joints. RE front springs, with custom trackbar. Also includes custom 1/2 plate Xmember with built in skidplates for Xfer. Rear is RE leaf springs, 4.5 I think?

Well I have an 01 XJ that I'm considering pulling the engine/tranny out of for use in my 1ton YJ project. I'll be running a D300 so thats not a concern.
My question is, can you get rid of ALOT of the wiring on an 01? My initial thought is no because the comp controls the alt voltage...
Hmmm would they make a good canidate for use in a yj swap?? Do they have the offset pin like the XJ's?? Maybe pull an over load out? Any idea of the length?

Any difference? I need some for my YJ build and the local junk man has 2 MJ's with the leaves in place.
Just wondering about load rating etc, are the springs stiffer due to it being a truck? I'm pretty sure the length would be the same since most lifts fit either.
