Just found out she's totaled...the insurance co. is towing it back home Friday...then I have to talk to the total-loss adjuster to see how much i can get the salvage back for....then its back to the 'ol drawing board to build another XJ :)

yea the yakima rack did shatter the plastic is just so light and flimsy it kinda popped back out...those things are great though for light gear like tent/sleeping bags etc. plus u can wheel with em ....just cant roll with it on there haha we actually rolled 1.5 times and ended up on the roof...

yea i dont think the frame was bent...but who knows... it was in soft sand when it happened and i was probably going about 20-30mph...i really just want to build another cherokee, i live in SLC UT and that thing hauled my drums to gigs and drove hella good in the snow, and hauled my mtn bikes...

It was off-road in white wash...its between green river and moab, it just rained and the sand was a little harder than normal, i think I caught an edge while turning but im not completely sure it happened so fast...everyone was buckled in and ok, thats the important thing for sure...

How much do you think it will cost to get the salvage rights so I can get my new bumpers/tires/steering/all sorts of sh*t off of it??

I GOT IT OUT finally!! I just have to hold the button for the gear shifter in and push it all the way up then turn the key back, whew glad that annoyance is over....time for more wheelin' thanks again guys!!!
