    transfer case

Just remember that the Rubicon 44 is just a D30 with a low-pinion D44 center section. People have run them with 37's but that doesn't mean that it will last if your hard on it. It would be a shame to put alot of money into a Rubicon 44 just to upgrade again down the road. Consider going with...

    Another HP D44 build

Chevy outers - Driver side will be already setup for studs. Passenger from early 70's will usually have to be machined, drilled, and tapped so that studs can be inserted. The late 70's Chevy passenger outer can't be machined. Chevy small bearing spindles and late 70's Ford Hub/Rotors will...

    Aftermarket Radiator

I'm using Red Line Water Wetter in mine that I got at O'Reily. Same basic idea I think. It was cheap so I figured why not and added it after my cooling upgrades last year. Greg

    Aftermarket Radiator

I'm running a CSF 3-Row from http://www.radiatorbarn.com/ with a Hesco high flow pump, high flow housing and a 195 stat. Combined with hood vents I don't expect to ever have any problems. Greg

    steering problem/question

The high steer arms you are using probably require you to run a longer pitman arm. I had the same issue when I swapped in my D44, and ended up running a Waggy pitman arm. I have since gone with BTF arms and I can now run my stock pitman. Greg

Harbor Freight vs Costco Portable 12v Air Compressor - In Depth Review w/ Pictures

Re: Harbor Freight vs Costco Portable 12v Air Compressor - In Depth Review w/ Pictures Its funny how stuff gets more expensive when they become really popular. I bought mine at Checker almost 2 years ago for $28.

Jeep Breakin and Property Theft in Great Falls, MT

The lead detective called me at about 11:00 tonight. He said that they have some witnesses that gave a description, and they supposedly were caught on a security camera. The building next to the off-road shop is a Contruction Company and they stole one of their pickup trucks and then mowed...

Jeep Breakin and Property Theft in Great Falls, MT

Time to vent for about meth heads in Great Falls. My Jeep was in the parking lot of my buddies off-road shop last night. It seems that punks have nothing better to do than break into peoples vehicles and steal their s**t. A rock was thrown thru my front passenger window. They then decided to...

Your opinion on making a ford 9" front axel

Not only would the inner seal and weak tubes have to be addressed, the heavier duty Ford 9" center would make for interesting placement of the coil buckets and link mounts due to its width. The Currie front 9" housings use the older style centers that aren't nearly as wide.
