I all depends on how much tread is left. If all 4 tires have really good tread, replace the one with the nail with a similar or identical tire. If both tires on the axle with the flat are worn, go ahead and replace both to eliminate spider gear wear and tear. But to replace all four because one...
It is not vert difficult. I replace mine last year. You just need a seal puller, and a seal driver. Or a LARGE socket and a good hammer. My Pinion yoke came off pretty easy. I am not sure how difficult your will be.
:eeks1: I know this sounds crazy, but mine was spraying oil the same way. that is why it took me so long to figure it out(until it broke) Like kastein said. They can "half-break" causing some weird shizzle to happen.
I am absolutely positive it is the oil pressure sending unit. I had this EXACT problem. It finally blew the end off of the sensor and started to dump massive amounts of oil.
