Is 5w50wt. oil to thick for winter temps? I live in upstate NY,and the temps have been -0. I was using Mobil 1 10w30,but the Jeep has about 200k on it and I thought a heavier weight oil would be better. Thanks.

DaveD, The ignition switch was replaced about two months ago. Is there any kind of adjustment that can be done to solve this problem? Thanks.

I have a electrical problem on my '90. It's pretty cold up here in the Northeast right now. When starting the Jeep in the morning time, the heater blower, radio, wipers, and rear wiper do not work. But as the vehicle warms up, they will sporatically start working. Any ideas???? :confused:

I noticed recently,that when I turn on my lights,the ampmeter drops way down. Also,I noticed the lights flickering when driving. Bad or loose connection?

How much does a new 4.0L typically cost? I am contiplating replacing my engine on my '90. Also,can I install a HO 4.0L in a '90 XJ?

I plan on getting 31x10.5x15 tires soon. I also want to get new wheels to replace the stockers. What size rim is better for this size tire,15x7 or 15x8? Thanks.

I removed the carpet,and Herculined the floor on my '90. It didn't come with a factory exhaust heat shield. Can I get one from the Dealer,and about how much would it cost?

Where can you get these rims other than 4Wheel Parts? They seem to want alot for shipping. Can you get them through PepBoys,Autozone,etc?

I have a '90 XJ with a 3.5RE lift. I have 15x7 AR steel wheels with 4.75 in. backspace. What is the recommended wheel backspace for an XJ? Also,what does "negative offset" mean? Thanks.
