I currently have a drum brake 8.8 under the XJ and just acquired a disc brake Dana 44A out of a ZJ, and I have been reading up on the zj swap onto a chrys 8.25 but was wondering if there was any info on swapping the disc's onto a drum brake 8.8 I did search for 8.8 disc conversion and came up...

is there anyone who makes a guard that goes any higher like to the window? The dent in my rear guarter stops at the base of the window.

I was driving on the highway with the cruise on when something jumped across the road so I slammed on the brakes and now the cruise wont set. The light comes on in the dash but it won't set the speed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance

I have a 97 w/ the 242 and aw4 auto, and the auto is on it's way out. My friend at the wrecking yard has a 99 I believe w/ the aw4 but it has the 231. His computer list the aw4's as not interchangable, why is this and is there anything I can do to get the 231 aw4 to swap infront of my 242? Thanks

so do you need the canister. When I put on my after market bumper the mech. @ the dealer said that I could just plug the line and it would be fine. But then again I should know better then to trust the dealer.

I got under the hood and looked but could not find the valve. Is it closer to the heater assembly or on a hard line somewhere? Thanks
