This is very random when this happens. But every now and then, when I start up my jeep, the radio has reset to AM and I have to reset my stations. I assume I have a short going on somewhere, but how do I find it or could it be something else? :dunno:

The IAC has been cleaned recently, but I didn't do it myself. Maybe I should take a look at it.

I had a similar problem once, and it was a bad catalytic converter.

It's a '90. I think I've replaced the ballast resistor a couple of years ago, but I'll go ahead and get another and check the fuel relay and all connections.

It's running right now. The IAC has been cleaned. Every sensor on it has been checked. The grounds have been checked and rechecked. No one can find anything wrong with it. If the ballast resistor is bad, could that cause the fuel pump not to run?

I need to replace the fuel pump. I could do it myself, but I don't have any tools right now.
