so i found my problem why my fuel pump isnt running so i temp. fixed the problem by running a fused line to my fuel pump relay circuit... but now im still even blowing this fuse. ill track down the short but in the meantime...
where is the fuse for the fuel pump? (its an 89...renix) and where...
well ... i gave one of the wires at the ballast resistor 12V and the fuel pump works just fine... and i could also hear some relays clicking
what could the problem be here? did my ignition switch just randomly bite the dust?
itll start up then just dies... im obviously not gettin fuel but my starter relay is giving it fuel durring crank
what could be wrong? i bypassed my ballast resistor and still nuthing. i was on the freeway last night and it just died on me and now it wont stay running
any other things i should...
my transmission is f*cked.... still cant figure out whats wrong with it... monday is my day off and its the last day ill screw with it, but ive been having some trouble with my AW4, been slippin like crazy blah blah blah, replaced the tps... so on and so on... now my jeep is about to vibrate...
well tomorrow is my day off so ill change the fluid and filter and check the silenoids while im at it
and what are some symptoms of a torque converter gone bad? these problems just started 2 days ago, so i dont think im lookin at a rebuild unless the hydrolic pump went out?
i replaced my TPS just a while ago and i noticed a instant change in pick up... now its shifting early and it seems like i still cant get into over drive or that my torque converter isnt locking up (revs to 2k on anything over 55mph)
I stopped by a very reputable automatic transmission shop...
here recently my Jeep has been reving higher then it should on hard take offs and on the highway(60+mph).
the other day when i was leaving work, i floored it and it reved to 5200rpm b4 shifting into 2nd and later on down the road completely slipped out of gear(engine reved and went no where). I...
thats what im asking about... its an 89 and i hear its a pain in the ass to remove the bearing from the hub... just askin if anyones done it? otherwise i guess ill just fork out the money i dont have and replace the whole assembly
my wheel bearings are pretty bad ... has anyone here ever replaced just the bearing and not the whole hub?
i hear (on d30s) its a job that requires a special tool that not everyone can get so most ppl just replace the whole hub... but $11 compared to $115 ouch
hmmm so anyone make any suggestiosn.. cuz this is all just planning ahead
im gettin RE 7.5" coils
i have a 1.5" shackle, that im keeping.
6" BOR leafs woulld sit about 7" from what im hearing and my shackle would boost me 8.5? ... definatly didnt want that high... but then again... i want...
